I received my Bachelor degree in Nursing from the University of Virginia. After working for 5 years as a neonatal intensive care nurse, I returned to school to receive my Master degree in Nursing from Columbia University in New York City to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP). I loved caring for newborns but decided that I wanted to be able to see my patients grow up and take care of them throughout their entire childhood! I am board-certified as an NP in pediatric primary care, as well as board-certified in neonatal intensive care nursing. I am trilingual in English, Spanish, and German.
I chose to work in pediatrics because kids are fun, inspiring, and bring a smile to my face every single day. My goal is to help children to feel better even on their worst days and help them reach a happy and healthy future. In my spare time, I like to get outdoors with my husband and daughter (walking, boating, playing disc golf), watch movies all day on lazy weekends, eat pizza, and read lots of books.
