Hi! My name is Ashlynne Langford. I am a licensed and certified pediatric nurse practitioner with a focus in pediatric primary care (CPNP-PC). Since 2019, I have practiced at Avon Park Pediatrics with occasional rotation days at Heartland Pediatrics of Lake Placid.

I began my career in pediatric healthcare in 2013, and have enjoyed working with kids ever since.  I have treated everything from simple pediatric cases to caring for pediatric trauma patients with one main goal: seeing a smile on the child’s face once they are well. That’s why I chose pediatrics, children just want to be well and they do so with smiling faces. I am passionate about helping children, educating families on pediatric health, and continuing to grow as your child’s medical provider.

I was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. I am a third-generation graduate from Florida State University and earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013. Go Noles!! From 2013-2017, I worked as a licensed and Certified Pediatric Registered Nurse at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. During those years, I cared for acutely ill pediatric patients in an inpatient setting, I have cared for critically ill pediatric patients in a Pediatric ICU as a PICU RN, and for pediatric trauma patients as a pediatric trauma nurse. In addition to my license and certification, I completed a two-year nurse residency program during my time at Tallahassee Memorial. In 2018, I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama, graduating with honors and distinction. I became a licensed Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and earned my certification as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. My husband and I welcomed a beautiful daughter to our family in 2019, and we are expecting our son’s arrival in early 2021. We also have 2 dogs. In my spare time I like to travel back to my hometown of Tallahassee to visit with family and friends. Additionally, my family and I enjoy trips to our family beach home on Anna Maria Island.
